Hi Alex,
Please trust me it is not me who posted the question there. I am
surprised
to see the question on the google discussion group and people
even discuss
with me.
Surely, there may be some 3rd party (other than me and Microsoft
forum
management system) posts the question there.
I think you're lacking a basic understanding of what Usenet is.
Usenet is a worldwide network of bulletin boards hosted on many
servers. Each server carries a set of discussion groups (called
newsgroups). Each group is dedicated to certain topic reflected in
its name. Microsoft's Usenet server is "msnews.microsoft.com".
You can access Usenet via Internet. There are many software
programs (news clients) that can read Usenet. Some sites provide a
web access to Usenet, so it kind of looks like a forum. Google is
one of such providers. MSDN discussion groups is another site that
enables you to read Usenet via web browser.
It means that you can access the same group in many ways: with
desktop news client (like Outlook Express, for example), via
Google site, via MSDN site (but only Microsoft groups).
Nobody posts your questions on Google. It's Google who
synchronizes with MS Usenet server to show server's content.
It seems that something went wrong with MSDN discussion groups
configuration either on MSDN site or your computer. The result is
that your posts appear in many groups where they are off topic.
That's why people ask you about your news client and suggest to
setup proper news clinet where you can easily see where you post
to.
