it's a Pig.(it's java)
the best way to do it is to use :
URL jarUrl = new URL( "file:/path/to/my/app/updatable.jar" ); (this works
on osx/windows/linux)
if you use URL , then it is the SAME for all platforms , forget about setting
or screwing about with
file.separator etc.
actual working code examples:
ourProgramDirectory = System.getProperty("user.dir");
int loop=0;
while (st.hasMoreTokens()) {
final URL x1 =new URL(((("file:" + ourProgramDirectory) +"/")
+st.nextToken())); //this is a URL so do not use fileSep
