Hello,

How do I send files from one java project to another java project across the Internet. All I have is the username and IP address. I would like the transmission to be as fast as humanly possible.

Given only an IP address and a user name, "as fast as humanly
possible" is zero bytes per decade. :(

What are these files you want to send? Are they Java source files
and so on, being sent from one development group to another? If so, do
you actually need to "send" them or can you just let both groups use a
shared repository? Or are the files some kind of application-specific
stuff being sent between two cooperating applications? If so, the two
applications need to make their own arrangements for the transfer (and
their own arrangements for making sure interlopers don't interfere).

What are you trying to do? There's not yet enough detail in your
question to support a meaningful answer.
