Hi all,
I have an MFC Application that also serves as an Out-of-process server
via an ATL Object.
This worked fine for years now and still works fine on most machines.
But on both of my development computers I can no longer instanciate the
server through COM after I have installed VS2005.
I have checked the registry entries and they seem identical to a
working configuration on a computer without VS2K5.
I have also copied the build output from my dev machine to the other
machine and vice versa and it seems to be a problem of my machine, not
the build output.
The error I get is $80040111 ( CLASS_E_CLASSNOTAVAILABLE ).
OleView tells me that "CoGetClassObject" fails as the ClassFactory can
not supply he requested class.
All machines have WinXP Pro EN SP2 with all the latest updates and all
of the ole*.dlls in System32 have the same versions.
Has anyone any idea what could cause this?
Thx
